Had to say goodbye to my best friend yesterday. The doodle of him and frame were made before he started getting really sick, and I wasn’t planning on sharing them until a couple other things were in order, but it feels appropriate now as I’m processing everything.
These little friends spawned from a silly sketch made while doodling with my kids almost a year ago. The joy and laughter that it sparked in them led me to make a whole daycare full of baby elemental monsters.
I’m way behind on sharing this, as we are on the edge of December, and two sets were made as part of the Halloween costumes for my kids. Better late than never!
Bothered by the fact that there seemed to be nowhere decent in my workshop to store my favorite style of controllers, I sat down with FreeCAD for a couple hours to model a nesting rack system.
Started playing D&D for the first time earlier this year (thanks for being a great DM, BFFNate!), and monsters are fun. For these reasons, I realized I needed to get right back into action figures by designing adorable, goofy versions.
