Hot Sauce

This is more about the label than anything else, but yes, I’ve been having fun making hot sauces lately.
Found and tweaked some good recipes, got ingredients (thank you again for the huge bag of serrano peppers Jackie!), bought and sterilized some glass bottles, got everything bottled and sealed as gifts, and then thought, “this would be way more hilarious with a fancy label.”
So I fired up my copy of Affinity Photo V2, added Roscoe’s yawning face (because it looks like a roar), arranged everything to include some white space for manually writing the sauce type and bottling date, then made a little flame doodle in Affinity Designer V2.
Once everything was together, I ordered them as “White Vinyl Removable Matte” label sheets, added the pertinent information, and slapped those stickers on.

Fun times, and everyone has been enjoying the sauces so far.

I’ve since updated the label slightly to include some text regarding shaking and refrigeration, and I will likely be getting some more bottles soon.
Now I’ve really got to find a reliable source for fresh red serrano peppers…
