Banana Bandit

Let’s get Rootin’ and Tootin’ with another “badguy.”
Well… according to the character designer (my almost-10-year-old daughter), Banana Bandit is more of a Robin-Hood-type-figure in that he only steals food to feed his family.
Design Notes
Part of a school project, my daughter was required to create a “Wanted” poster, and she opted to make the best little bandito I had ever seen. Her quick fabrication led to both of my kids laughing and doodling other various characters part of their “Bananaverse” together.

From left-right/top-bottom: Cretaceous Cream (Banana Bandit’s pet-friend), Tomato Tyrant, Lord Lemon, Lady Lime, and King Kiwi.
I loved the design so much I almost immediately started carving away a few minutes here and there during their bedtime routines to forge this antihero into reality. Developed in FreeCAD 1.0, this gave me more practical experience with multiple parts in multi-section lofts. I found things moved pretty fast when copying the same component over and over, tweaking it here and there, and using the “scraps” as boolean bodies.

Maybe add a little paint (if you want to and know what kind of paint works best with 3D prints).
