Bad Photo Editing – 2026 Calendar

When trying to figure out what to get our mom for Christmas last year, my younger sister and I landed on, “sincere photo calendar of our pets; pointedly absent of any of the grand-kids.” It was a hit (at least we thought so), and we immediately started thinking about how to top it this year.
Having a copy of Affinity Photo, the decision was made to produce an intentionally-bad photo editing project of my cat-friend Roscoe and her dog Amory in various movie stills ganked online. I’d wanted to learn some graphic arts, but hadn’t had a “real” reason or opportunity to dip my toes in until then.
The result is both awful and incredibly amusing to me.

Honorable Mention – Godzilla X Kong
Didn’t make the final cut, but the way my sister’s dog fits on Kong in this gets me laughing every time I see it.
